J. Doyle Walton, M.D.

Doyle was raised in Bethlehem, PA and attended Moravian Academy for grades 1-12. He attended Brown University in Providence, RI where he earned a degree in Electrical Engineering while also completing premedical education. He then returned to Pennsylvania and earned his medical degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine. It was during his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Hahnemann where he met his wife Jill, a registered nurse. They moved to Los Angeles, CA where Doyle completed cardiology fellowship training at the University of Southern California (USC) Medical Center and Los Angeles County Hospitals. He then went on to complete subspecialty training in Interventional Cardiology at USC while volunteering as a faculty member at the County hospital.

Doyle is a board certified interventional cardiologist who has performed thousands of catheter based procedures. He has a wide experience in both coronary interventions as well as renal and lower extremity arterial catheter-based revascularization procedures. He routinely treats acute heart attacks with emergency angioplasty procedures at both Grandview and Doylestown Hospitals.

When Doyle is not working he enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter Hollis, son Beck, and their Chesapeake Bay retriever Tipa. They reside in the Doylestown Borough and enjoy regular walks in town and visiting with neighbors. Other passions include surfing, soccer, skiing, golf, live music, and travel.
