James
Todd Alderfer, M.D.
Todd resides in
Hilltown Township with his wife Donna and their three children Kayla,
Tyler and Kaci.
He grew up in
the Grand View community and returned in 1997 to start Alderfer &
Travis Cardiology and help serve the medical and cardiovascular
needs of the local community that he grew up in.
His father was
an Obstetrician/Gynecologist at Grand View Hospital for over 20
years.
Todd began working at Grand View Hospital in High School and through
College as an orderly before attending medical school.
Todd and his
family are active members at Blooming Glen Mennonite Church, Penn
View Christian School, the Healthy Hearts Foundation and in many
other local community activities.
Athletics are
an ever-present distraction for him, coaching and playing soccer and
baseball and many other things.
A passion of
his has become marathon running, completing over 25 marathons
including the Boston Marathon from 2001-2008 and ongoing, Lord
Willing.
However, his
biggest joy is spending time with his family from eating dinner, to
music lessons, sports, homework, mowing the lawn, fishing in the
backyard, planting the garden or trees, singing, church or
traveling.
